Erik Johansson has a long history of work experience in the tech industry. In 2010, they founded Model Dimension, where they built a custom Ruby framework (using Rack) and used MongoDB for database storage. The following year, they became a Web Developer at Spotify, where they were a team member and later owner of the design framework used by all desktop and web views for the redesign. Erik was also part of the team building the Artist and Album views in HTML/JavaScript, and helped starting up the web architecture group and created a very performant PHP framework. In 2011, they joined Sparta Sales as an Engineering Lead, where they added structure and routine to the daily work and brought ideas for how to improve the company diversity. In 2015, they became a Senior Developer at JamesEdition, where they were hired to help reorganize and implement a service based platform based on a legacy code base. Erik then moved to Glue Home, where they were a Senior Developer. In 2017, they became a Consultant at Dynabyte, where they worked mainly in front-end work in Vue and React. In 2020, they joined Cint as a Software Developer, and in 2021 they became a Tech Lead and Frontend Engineer at Mentimeter. This year, they are a Frontend Lead at Ark Kapital.
Erik Johansson attended the Blekinge Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2006, where they studied Media Technology. Erik then attended the Hyper Island from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Digital Media.
