Joel Östberg

Joel Östberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Salesman at United Media Group for a few months before transitioning to a Loan Officer role at Nordea. In 2012, they held multiple summer internships, first at Bosch Rexroth and then at Qwaya. Later that year, they worked as a Speech Data Specialist at Google. In 2013, they completed an internship at Sigill Kvalitetssystem. From 2014 to 2015, they participated in SEB's International Trainee Programme and subsequently became a Business Controller at SEB Kort until 2017. From 2017 to 2021, Joel worked as a Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A at Zettle by PayPal. In 2021, they joined PayPal as a Manager in Global SMB Portfolio Analytics and continued in that role until 2023. Currently, they are working as a Data Analyst at Ark Kapital.

Joel Östberg has a solid education history. Joel pursued their bachelor's degree in Business and Economics at Uppsala University from 2009 to 2012. During this time, they also completed an exchange semester at ESSCA, focusing on Management and Marketing in 2011. In 2009, they further enhanced their language skills through language studies at Babylon Idiomas in Barcelona. After completing their bachelor's degree, Joel Östberg went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Business and Management, specializing in Management Controlling, from Uppsala University between 2012 and 2014.
