Marcus Östman

Marcus Östman has worked in a variety of roles in the finance and technology sectors since 2010. In 2010, they began working as a Quality Assurance Specialist at A Small Game AB. In 2015, they worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Analyst Group and as a Personal Assistant at STIL. Marcus also worked as a Financial Advisor at Cerberus AB. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at Nordea, first as an Associate Director in the Corporate Advisory department, then in the Management Office in Luxembourg, and finally in the Nordea Graduate Program. Most recently, they have been a Debt Structuring Manager at Ark Kapital, a Fintech startup.

Marcus Östman has a well-rounded education history. Marcus completed a Diploma Program at the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education in 2019, focusing on Valuation and Corporate Finance. Marcus then obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Corporate and Financial Management from Lund University School of Economics and Management between 2013 and 2015, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Corporate Finance from the same school between 2010 and 2013. Marcus also attended the National University of Singapore in 2014, studying Finance and Strategic Management. In addition, they studied Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2010, and Economics and Mathematics at Stockholm University in 2009-2010. Marcus also holds several certifications, including Certified SAFe® 5 Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) Certification, and a SwedSec License.
