John Oldweiler

John Oldweiler has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. John started their career as the Director of Purchasing at Ark Restaurants in 1988, where they gained experience in BOH restaurant management, purchasing, systems development, program design, rebate capture, and manufacturer partnership programs. In 2005, they founded ChefMod, LLC and served as the President. There, they developed systems to optimize multi-location buying and attracted attention from distributors and manufacturers. John has extensive experience in multi-regional distribution environments and has worked in various types of restaurants, from large ones to unique multi-concept food courts.

John Oldweiler attended Newark Academy from 1978 to 1983, where they completed their high school education. John then went on to Northeastern University from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with a focus on Marketing.
