Gavin Wall

Gavin Wall's work experience begins in 2005 at WorleyParsons, where they served as a Global SharePoint Administrator and Developer. Gavin later took on the role of Global SharePoint and Collaboration Architect, providing technical leadership and designing SharePoint solutions. In 2008, Gavin became the Global Development Team Lead and Global SharePoint and Application Architect. Gavin then transitioned to the position of Global Application Services Manager, overseeing application platforms. In 2011, Gavin joined Fortescue Metals Group as Chief Architect, leading their IT strategy and focusing on their cloud journey, including Azure. Gavin joined Microsoft in 2014 as Cloud Solutions Architect, guiding customers in achieving more with Azure. Gavin later became the Principal Program Manager for AzureCAT, ensuring customer solutions were designed to meet mission-critical demands. In 2019, Gavin took on the role of Australian Engineering Director and Principal Program Manager, driving the expansion and growth of Azure in Australia and New Zealand. Currently, Gavin is the Chief Architect and Strategy Officer at Arkahna.

Gavin Wall completed their Bachelor of Computer & Mathematical Science degree from The University of Western Australia from 1999 to 2002. Gavin'sfield of study included IT Applications, IT Systems, and Accounting. Prior to that, they attended Carine Senior High School from 1997 to 1998, although no degree or field of study is specified for that period.

Additionally, Gavin Wall has obtained several certifications from Microsoft.
