Mary Ley has a diverse work experience in the field of education and communication. Mary started their career as a Project Director at Colorado Springs School District 11 in 2005 and worked there until 2011. Mary then joined Bentonville Public Schools as the Executive Director of Communications and Community Partnerships, where they worked from 2011 to 2014. Mary later became the CEO of Arkansas Arts Academy in 2014.
Mary Ley attended Indiana State University from 1975 to 1978, where they obtained both a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Art Teacher Education.

The Arkansas Arts Academy is a public charter school offering fine arts education to K-12 students. Located in Rogers, we are the second oldest and one of the largest charter schools in the state. Our mission is to provide a rigorous academic program with a purposed integration of the arts. We challenge our students academically while providing them with an arts enhanced curriculum.
