Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Assistant Attorney General at the Arkansas Attorney General's Office since May 2023. Previously, Michael held the role of Interim Director and Attorney Specialist at the Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control from February 2020 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes positions as Associate Attorney at Cordell & Cordell and Attorney at Law at Knapp Law Firm. Additional roles include Law Clerk positions at Hilburn, Calhoon, Harper, Pruniski, & Calhoun, Ltd, James H. Phillips, and Moffitt & Phillips, PLLC, as well as serving as a Rule XV Student Attorney at the Pulaski County Public Defender's Office. Michael earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law, in 2015, and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in History/Pre-Law from the University of Arkansas in 2012.
