Ken Warden

Ken Warden currently serves as the Commissioner for the Arkansas Division of Higher Education since June 2023. Prior to this role, Ken held multiple leadership positions at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, including Associate Vice Chancellor for Compliance and Legislative Affairs, Dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Workforce Development from July 2014 to June 2023. Ken's earlier experience includes serving as the Chief Business and Community Outreach Officer at Arkansas Tech University from August 1997 to June 2014. Ken Warden holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Workforce Development Education from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership from Arkansas Tech University.
