Luna Acosta

Luna Acosta, MBA, ECM has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Luna started their career as a Coordinator at Arkansas State University in 2008 and held this position until 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Special Assistant for a brief period before becoming a Research Assistant, a role they held until 2016. During this time, they also served as an Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning. From 2016 to 2021, Luna took on the role of Incubator Manager and Intellectual Property and Marketing Manager at Arkansas State University. In this position, they were responsible for managing and supporting intellectual property activities on campus and overseeing the Catalyst Innovation Center, a life-sciences and technology business incubator. In 2021, Luna was promoted to the position of Director, Incubator and Director, Intellectual Property and Marketing, where they continued to manage technology transfer activities at Arkansas State University. Most recently, Luna has been serving as the Director, Technology Transfer and Director of the Catalyst Innovation Center at Arkansas State University since 2022. Additionally, in 2012, Luna had the opportunity to work as an Intern at American Greetings.

Luna Acosta, MBA, ECM, has a diverse education history. Luna obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Arkansas State University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Business and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science, both from Arkansas State University, between 2009 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, Luna has also earned certifications. Luna obtained the Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research certification from the CITI Program in April 2022, and the ECM certification from InBIA, the International Business Innovation Association, in 2018. Luna briefly attended Universidad de Huelva in 2010-2011, although the degree obtained is not specified.
