Abdelatif Baba-Ahmed

Abdelatif Baba-Ahmed possesses extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering, with a significant tenure at Arkema since November 2005, where roles include CMC R&D/PROCESS Team Manager and Thermodynamic Expert. Key responsibilities include accelerating the development of cyanoacrylate monomers, ensuring the reliability of simulation processes, interfacing between R&D and process engineering, and managing a molecular modeling technology platform, resulting in 12 patents since 2016. Prior to Arkema, Abdelatif co-founded Processium as Head of Thermodynamic Services and held roles at Ecole des Mines de Paris and IFP Energies Nouvelles. Educational credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics from Mines Paris - PSL and a Master’s degree in Chemical Kinetics and modeling from IFP School.
