Armand Ajdari

Armand Ajdari currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Arkema since 2022. Prior to this role, Armand held several significant positions at Saint-Gobain from 2007 to 2021, including Executive Vice-President R&D, where responsibilities included overseeing a global R&D budget of approximately 450 million euros and managing over 3,600 employees. Armand was also part of the ComEx and directly managed eight Transversal R&D Centers across multiple countries. Additionally, Armand has experience as Deputy R&D Vice President at COZYNERGY and as a Board Member for ECODROP. Armand's career at CNRS spanned from 1992 to 2007, culminating as Director of the Laboratoire de Physico-Chimie Théorique and UMR "Gulliver." Armand's academic credentials include a PhD in Theoretical Physics from École Polytechnique and Pierre and Marie Curie University, alongside experience as a Visiting Scientist at Harvard University.
