Bob Fu

Bob Fu is an accomplished research scientist with extensive experience in polymer chemistry and materials science. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at Arkema since September 2016, Bob Fu has achieved significant milestones in synthesizing emulsion polymers for various applications, including a commercially successful adhesive for carpets and vinyl tiles. Prior roles include Principal Chemist at Nalco Champion, where Bob Fu developed water-soluble polymers, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, focusing on antimicrobial polymers. Bob Fu also has a background as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where notable achievements included optimizing synthetic routes and safety officer responsibilities. Bob Fu holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Chemistry from National Taiwan University.
