Jay Miller

Jay Miller is a highly experienced Principal Process Technology Engineer at Arkema, where responsibilities include supporting the fluorochemicals and thiochemicals businesses. Prior to Arkema, Jay served as a Technical Fellow at Renmatix, leading refining processes and successfully scaling technology. Jay's extensive experience also includes various roles at LyondellBasell, where significant contributions involved developing new reaction models and leading process hazard analysis teams with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. Early career experiences at Dow/Union Carbide included leading the development of innovative purification schemes and separations processes that resulted in substantial cost savings. Jay holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and a Postdoctoral degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
