John Lee is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and operations leadership. Currently serving as the CAPEX/Technology Leader at Arkema since May 2022, John previously held various key positions, including Plant Manager and Manufacturing Manager at COATEX from July 2010 to April 2022, overseeing operations for a North American facility producing water-based polyacrylate rheology modifiers. Prior to COATEX, John was the Production Manager and Interim Plant Manager at PolyOne, managing operations for screenprinting inks and plastisol products. Earlier experience includes serving as Technical Manager at Konica Minolta Manufacturing USA, focusing on the production of color negative photographic paper, and as a nuclear-trained submarine officer in the United States Navy from 1983 to 1994. John holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
