Ralf Finzel has served as Executive Vice President, Global Operations Officer since November 2022. Mr. Finzel is an award-winning international operations executive with more than three decades leading operations and integrated supply chain management for multinational companies.

Prior to joining IFF, he served as vice president of Integrated Supply Chain for Honeywell International Performance Materials and Technologies Business Group in Houston. He first joined Honeywell in Germany as an operations manager in 1999, and his many successes led to roles of increasing responsibility and scope in Europe and the U.S. Before joining Honeywell, he worked in research and held plant management roles for Hoechst AG.

Mr. Finzel is a Six Sigma Black Belt and holds extensive training certifications. He has also published in industry periodicals, such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society and the Journal of Organic Chemistry.

Mr. Finzel has a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Würzburg, Germany.

Ralf Finzel

Barry A. Bruno is the current Director at IFF. Prior to this, they were the Head of Marketing at U.S. Ortho Clinical Diagnostics for [Johnson & Johnson](/org/johnson-johnson) from 1999 to 2013. Barry was responsible for setting strategy, identifying growth opportunities and executing launch plans with excellence. Barry departed when the business unit was sold to a private equity firm. Before [Johnson & Johnson](/org/johnson-johnson), they were a Marketing Manager at State Street Bank from 1994 to 1997. Barry was selected to take part in the high-potential employee management rotational program and departed to attend business school.

Bruno has an MBA in marketing from Wake Forest University School of Business, a BA in economics from [College of the Holy Cross](/org/college-of-the-holy-cross), and a degree in global strategic management from [Harvard Business School](/org/harvard-business-school). Barry also has a degree in leading global businesses from [Harvard Business School](/org/harvard-business-school).



Barry A. Bruno

Deborah Borg has served as IFF’s Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion Officer since August 2022. With nearly 30 years of experience, she is a leader in human resources, culture, employee engagement and business strategy and outcomes.

Prior to joining IFF, Ms. Borg was with the global Agribusiness and Food company, Bunge Limited where she served as Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer since 2016. While at Bunge, she was responsible for people, culture, communications strategy and operations.

Before her time with Bunge, Ms. Borg held a variety of leadership and HR roles in Australia, Switzerland and the U.S. for General Motors and Dow Chemical and oversaw multiple successful employee engagement, M&A integration and talent capacity initiatives.  As president of Dow USA, she was responsible for overall business performance, regional business strategy, new business development and external relationships with customers, government organizations and joint-venture partners.

Ms. Borg holds a Bachelor of Business Management in Human Resources and a master’s in training and change management, both from Victoria University, Melbourne Australia.

Deborah Borg

Roger W. Ferguson is the current Director at IFF. Before that, they were the Head of Financial Services and a Member of [Swiss Re](/org/swiss-re)'s Executive Committee from January 2006 to December 2008. In this role, they led financial services for [Swiss Re](/org/swiss-re) and served as chairman of [Swiss Re](/org/swiss-re) America Holding Corporation. Roger was also a member of the company’s executive committee. From 1997 to 2006, Ferguson was the Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors for the [Federal Reserve](/org/federal-reserve-system) System. In this role, they represented the [Federal Reserve](/org/federal-reserve-system) on several international policy groups and served on key [Federal Reserve](/org/federal-reserve-system) System committees, including Payment System Oversight, Reserve Bank Operations and Supervision and Regulation. Prior to their work at the [Federal Reserve](/org/federal-reserve-system), Ferguson was an Associate and Partner at [McKinsey & Company](/org/mckinsey-company) from 1984 to 1997. Roger was also a Partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from 1981 to 1984.

Gregory Yep is the Executive Vice President, Chief Research & Development, and Global Integrated Solutions & Sustainability Officer at IFF. Gregory has over 25 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, and has held leadership positions at [PepsiCo](/org/pepsico), Givaudan Flavours and Fragrances, USTA, Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Kerry. Gregory has a wealth of knowledge in research and development, and has been instrumental in developing new platforms and technologies that have revolutionized the food and beverage industry.

Gregory Yep attended Mt. Hebron High School before going on to the [University of Pennsylvania](/org/university-of-pennsylvania), where they studied chemistry and biology. Gregory then attended The Johns Hopkins University for their MA and Ph.D. in organic chemistry.

Mr. Morrison is a founding partner of Twin Ridge Capital Management, a private equity firm, since 2016. Prior to Twin Ridge, he founded TriPointe Capital Partners in 2011. From 2004 until 2011, Mr. Morrison served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of McCain Foods Limited, an international leader in the frozen food industry. A food industry veteran, his experience includes service as Chief Executive Officer and President of [Campbell Soup Company](/org/campbell-soup-company), various roles at General Foods and [PepsiCo](/org/pepsico) and as an operating partner of [Fenway Partners](/org/fenway-partners), a private equity firm.



Dale F. Morrison

Mr. Breen is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of [DuPont](/org/dupont) de Nemours, Inc. Before becoming CEO, he was Executive Chairman of [DuPont](/org/dupont) and previously served as CEO of DowDuPont and [DuPont](/org/dupont) since 2015. Mr. Breen was the Chief Executive Officer of Tyco International Ltd. from July 2002 until September 2012, was the Chairman of its Board until March 2016 and was one of its directors until September 2016. Prior to joining Tyco International, Mr. Breen was President and Chief Operating Officer of [Motorola](/org/motorola) from January 2002 to July 2002; Executive Vice President and President of [Motorola](/org/motorola)’s Networks Sector from January 2001 to January 2002; Executive Vice President and President of [Motorola](/org/motorola)’s Broadband Communications Sector from January 2000 to January 2001; Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of General Instrument Corporation from December 1997 to January 2000; and, prior to December 1997, President of General Instrument’s Broadband Networks Group.

Edward D. Breen

Dr. Heinzel has served as President of [DuPont](/org/dupont)’s Nutrition & Biosciences business (N&B) since April 2019. He joined [DuPont](/org/dupont) in 2003 as Marketing Manager for the Imaging Technologies business in Germany. Dr. Heinzel then held progressive business leadership roles in the Electronics & Communications business.  From 2007 to 2011, Matthias was based in Wilmington, Del., where he was named Global Business Director for Packaging Graphics. After returning to Germany, he moved into the [DuPont](/org/dupont) Nutrition & Health business in 2013 and was named Global Business Director for the Enablers Division. In January 2015, Dr. Heinzel was named President, Nutrition & Health and became President, Nutrition & Health for the Specialty Products Division following the DowDuPont merger in September 2017. In April 2019, he also assumed responsibility for the Industrial Biosciences business and was named President, Nutrition & Biosciences. Prior to joining [DuPont](/org/dupont), Matthias was a Senior Management Consultant with McKinsey where he served international clients in the technology, telecommunications and process industry. He then held several leadership roles in marketing, strategy and business development in the telecommunications industry.

Nicolas Mirzayantz leads the Nourish division, which comprises IFF’s Taste offering, including flavor compounds and natural taste solutions, along with heritage Nutrition & Bioscience’s food and beverage portfolio, which includes natural and plant-based specialty food ingredients such as Functional Solutions, Protein Solutions and Emulsifiers & Sweeteners.

Mr. Mirzayantz was appointed to this role in September 2021 and oversees the division’s strategy and commercial and creative execution. His career at IFF spans more than 30 years.

Prior to his current position, he was President, Scent division (formerly Fragrances) for 15 years. Since joining IFF, Nicolas has held roles of increasing responsibility, including the dual positions of Senior Vice President for IFF’s Fine Fragrances & Beauty Care unit and North America Regional Manager. He’s also overseen IFF’s Global Fine Fragrances Group, including Beauty Care, as well as the general management of the business development and operations activities in North America, including flavors and fragrances. Additionally, he managed the integration and development of IFF’s Creative Centers in New York and Paris.

Mr. Mirzayantz serves on the board of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA), the official representative body of the fragrance industry worldwide. He is also a board member of the Industry Advisory Board for the [Fashion Institute of Technology](/org/fashion-institute-of-technology) (FIT) Master’s Program. He holds a Master of Economics from the University of Paris II ASSAS and completed the International Executive Program at [INSEAD](/org/insead) in Fontainebleau in 1998 and the Executive Program at [Singularity University](/org/singularity-university) in Palo Alto, California in 2018.

Nicolas Mirzayantz

Frank Clyburn has served as IFF’s Chief Executive Officer since February 2022.

Previously, he held the role of Executive Vice President and President of Human Health for Merck & Co. (Merck), where he had full P&L responsibility of their largest business. During his tenure, he was also responsible for building one of the leading oncology businesses in the world, which is the largest business within Merck and has transformed cancer care on a global scale.

Mr. Clyburn joined Merck in 2008 and held several positions including Chief Commercial Officer, the inaugural president of the company’s Global Oncology business, and President of its Primary Care and Women’s Health businesses. In addition to leading the creation of the Global Oncology business, Mr. Clyburn also executed the worldwide launch of Merck’s immuno-oncology medicine which helped establish the company as a leader in oncology.

Before joining Merck, Mr. Clyburn was Vice President of the Oncology and Internal Medicine business units at Sanofi Aventis and held a wide range of leadership roles with the company.  In addition, was actively involved in the $65 billion integration of Sanofi and Aventis.

Mr. Clyburn received his Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College. Notably, he served on the Board of Directors of DuPont from June 1, 2019 to January 20, 2022. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). He also served as chairman to the Thomas Edison State University Board of Trustees.

Frank Clyburn

Glenn Richter has served as IFF’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since September 2021. He brings nearly 30 years of experience leading financial and corporate strategies, especially through complex transformation such as mergers and acquisitions and the related integration processes.

Prior to joining IFF, Mr. Richter was Chief Financial Officer of TIAA, having worked at the company in various leadership roles from April 2015 to July 2021. Previously, Mr. Richter worked for Nuveen Investments as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer where he helped lead the integration of multiple businesses and the financial transformation of the business through the 2008 financial crisis. Before joining Nuveen Investments in 2006, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for RR Donnelley & Sons, and prior to that was Executive Vice President & CFO of Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Chairman of Sears Canada, a publicly-traded affiliate.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Richter held several finance and strategy leadership roles at Dade Behring and PepsiCo Frito-Lay and began his career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Richter received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from George Washington University and his M.B.A. from Duke University.

Glenn Richter

Christophe de Villeplee leads the Scent division, which includes IFF’s Fine Fragrance, Consumer Fragrance, and Cosmetic Actives segments, as well as natural and synthetic ingredients. He was appointed in 2021 and is responsible for driving the business’ strategy and financial execution. Mr. de Villeplee’s career at IFF spans more than 20 years, with a total of 30 years in the industry.

Prior to his current position, he was President, Global Consumer Fragrances. Since joining IFF in 1999, he held positions of increasing responsibility, including sales, group country management, regional general management of fragrances, North America, and vice-president of Global Fine Fragrances and Beauty Care, before moving to consumer fragrances.

Mr. de Villeplee holds a degree from Institut Superieur de Gestion, International Business School, Paris. He also completed the Leadership Excellence Through Awareness and Practice program at INSEAD and the Finance for Senior Executives program at Harvard Business School.

Dr. Boor is the Dean of the Graduate School and Vice Provost for Graduate Education at [Cornell University](/org/cornell-university).  Prior to her appointment to her current role on October 1, 2020, Dr. Boor served as the Ronald P. Lynch Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at [Cornell University](/org/cornell-university) since 2010. Dr. Boor has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Seneca Foods Corporation since January 2019. Dr. Boor also serves on various other boards and councils including the US-Israel Binational Agricultural Research and Development Fund, the
Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research, the International Life Sciences Institute, and the
Boyce Thompson Institute.  Dr. Boor earned a B.S. in Food Science from [Cornell University](/org/cornell-university), an M.S. in Food Science from the [University of Wisconsin](/org/university-of-wisconsin-madison) and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.



Kathryn Boor

Mr. Schultz has served as President and CEO of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and as a member of its Board of Directors since November 1, 2017. From May 2015 to October 2017, Mr. Schultz served as President and Chief Executive Officer of H. Lundbeck A/S. Prior to that, Mr. Schultz worked for nearly three decades at [Novo Nordisk](/org/novo-nordisk), where he served in a number of leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Product Supply and Director of Product Planning and Customer Services in the Diabetes Care Division. Mr. Schultz has also held positions at McKinsey and Anderson Consulting. From 2007 to 2020, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of LEGO A/S. From 2010 to 2017, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Royal Unibrew A/S and during 2017 he served on the Board of Directors of Bitten og Mads Clausens Fond, the holding vehicle for Danfoss A/S. Mr. Schultz received a master’s degree in economics from the [University of Copenhagen](/org/university-of-copenhagen).



Kare Schultz

Mr. Davidson served as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Tyco International from January 2004 to September 2012. In that role, he led financial reporting, internal controls and accounting policies and processes. Mr. Davidson was a member of Tyco’s new senior leadership team that established financial integrity, operational excellence and strong ethical practices across Tyco’s global operations. Prior to Tyco, Mr. Davidson was Vice President of audit, risk and compliance for Dell Computer Corporation where he served in several executive roles, including Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President and Corporate Controller and Vice President of Internal Audit. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years with Eastman Kodak Company where he led the internal audit function and previously served in various accounting and financial leadership roles. Mr. Davidson began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen & Co. and is a Certified Public Accountant.



Carol Anthony Davidson

Mr. Williamson currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at [Thermo Fisher Scientific](/org/thermo-fisher-scientific), a leader in life sciences and healthcare technologies. Appointed to this role in August 2015, Mr. Williamson is responsible for the company’s finance, tax, treasury and investor relations functions.

He joined Thermo Fisher in 2001 as Vice President, European Financial Operations, based in the U.K., and oversaw its integration activities across Europe. In 2004, Mr. Williamson moved to the U.S. and held finance leadership roles for many of Thermo Fisher’s operating businesses. In 2008, he became Vice President of Financial Operations for the company and led the finance function supporting all businesses.

Prior to Thermo Fisher, Mr. Williamson served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific for Honeywell International (formerly AlliedSignal) in Singapore and held other finance roles in corporate development and operational finance. He began his career with Price Waterhouse in the transaction support group and the audit practice, working in both London and New York.



Stephen Williamson

Ms. Gordon is the retired Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ingredion Incorporated since August 2018. Ms. Gordon previously served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Ingredion Incorporated from January 2018 to July 2018, and Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2009 to December 2017. Ms. Gordon has served as a member of the Board of Directors of International Paper Company since 2012 and Lockheed Martin Corporation since 2016. Ms. Gordon was President and Chief Executive Officer of [Rio Tinto](/org/rio-tinto)’s Alcan Packaging, a multinational business unit engaged in the production of flexible and specialty packaging, from 2007 to 2009 and held various senior management positions of increasing responsibility at its affiliate and predecessor companies from 1999 to 2007. Ms. Gordon also serves on the Board of Trustees and as Vice Chair of [The Conference Board](/org/conference-board-inc). 



Ilene Gordon

Mr. Ferraro was the Executive Vice President, Strategy and Sales of Aquilon Energy Services, a software company for the energy industry from February 2019 to July 2019. He was the Global Chief Operating Officer of Ernst & Young, a leading professional services firm, from 2007 to January 2015. In that role, he was responsible for the overall operations and services of Ernst & Young worldwide. Prior to the COO role, Mr. Ferraro served in several leadership positions, including as Global Vice Chair of Audit and as the senior advisory partner on some of the firm’s largest accounts. Mr. Ferraro began his career with Ernst & Young Milwaukee in 1976 and has served a variety of global companies. He has worked in Europe (London and Rome), throughout the Midwest (Chicago, Cleveland and Kansas City) and New York.
