Mark Lavach

Mark Lavach has extensive experience in polymer science and technology, holding the position of Manager, Polymer, Separations, and Systems Sciences and Senior Principal Engineer at Arkema since August 1984. Responsibilities include polymer characterization, material separations, experimental planning, and serving as a Global Technical Advisor for PVC and polymer additives. Previous roles at Arkema encompass Manager of PVC Additives Technology, responsible for various PVC additive products, and Research Scientist in PVC Modifier Technology. Additional experience includes serving as Chairman of ASTM International Committee D20 on Plastics from January 2016 to December 2021, overseeing a committee of 1200 members managing 500 standards. Mark Lavach's educational background includes a Certification in Technology Management from Caltech, an MS in Chemistry from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a BS in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
