Johan Smeyers

Johan Smeyers has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and IT industry since 2002. Johan began their career as a Sales Engineer at Control & Protection NV in 2002. In 2006, they joined GE as an Enterprise Consultant in EMEA and Commercial Product Leader for MES & Plant Intelligence in Northern Europe. From 2008 to 2011, Johan worked at Cisco as a Business Development Manager for Advanced Services Video. In 2011, they joined Dimensys Process & IT Consulting as Managing Director for Belgium. Most recently, Johan has been the CEO & Founder of Arkite NV since 2015, where they provide customers with a virtual assistant that can analyze human and machine operations and act in real-time.

Johan Smeyers completed a Master in Business Administration at Vlerick Business School between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Master in Industrial Engineering Electromechanics from KU Leuven Faculty of Engineering Technology - Group T Leuven Campus between 2000 and 2002.
