Thomas Grave-Larsen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the architecture and infrastructure field. Thomas started their career as a Trainee at COWI in 1993 and then worked as a Constructing Architect Student at Povl Barfod arkitekter in 1996. Thomas joined KHR arkitekter as a Constructing Architect in 1997, and later became an Architect and Constructing Architect. In 2004, they moved to Fogh & Følner Arkitekter where they worked as an Architect and Constructing Architect until 2007. In 2008, they became an Architect and Constructing Architect at Arkitema, progressing to roles such as Project Leader, Team Leader, Creative Leader, and Head of Infrastructure. Thomas also had a brief role as an External Consultant for students at KEA - Københavns Erhvervsakademi. In 2019, Thomas joined Rail Baltic Estonia as an Appointed Architectural Jury member. Currently, they hold the position of Partner and Head of Infrastructure at Arkitema.
Thomas Grave-Larsen has a Master's Degree in Architecture from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK), which they obtained from 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Architectural Technology and Construction Management from Byggeteknisk Højskole - BTH, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Thomas attended Virum Gymnasium from 1988 to 1992 for their high school education, and before that, they attended Trørød Skolen from 1978 to 1988. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a DGNB Consultant from Green Building Council Denmark in August 2012 and as an OSH coordinator from Dansk Arbejdsgiverforening (DA) in May 2007.
