Alex Skinner

Alex Skinner has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a work experience placement at Deloitte UK in 2004. In 2006, they worked for Unilever, where they were part of a team tasked with reducing foreign expenditure for employees. In 2007, they worked as an Instructor for European Snowsport Ski and Snowboard School, where they received two months of training and passed a two-week assessment with a BASI instructor. In 2012, they worked as an Intern for RedPixie, where they developed their scripting and customer-facing skills. In 2013, they moved into the product and data team at RedPixie, where they re-engineered a piece of bespoke software and worked with HTML, CSS (LESS, Bootstrap), and Angular JS. In 2018, they worked as a Software Developer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they built web applications using Angular 6 and TypeScript and refactored an ASP.Net API. Most recently, in 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Developer for Arkk Solutions, where they were responsible for infrastructure deployment, security, networking, application routing, and automated deployment of infrastructure, cluster, and application.

Alex Skinner attended Loughborough University from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Charterhouse, Godalming, UK from 2001 to 2006 and obtained High School A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
