Waqas Ahmed

Waqas Ahmed has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they were self-employed as an IT Technician, where they installed software, diagnosed PCs and laptops faults, and attended clients' homes and businesses for PCs and laptop repairs and networking issues. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as an IT Specialist at CDC Networking S.L., where they were responsible for PCs and laptops faults diagnostics, games and software testing, and repairing and assembling PCs and laptops. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Accounts Assistant at The Golden Wheels Barcelona, where they were accountable for raising client invoices, general ledger updates, and credit control/resolving client invoice queries. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Product Manager at Otto Car Ltd, where they developed and managed an end-to-end digital solution to manage a fleet of over 2500 vehicles, including sales, services, accidents, claims, warranty, telematics, licencing, and payments, as well as driver on-boarding. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Product Owner at Innovation Group UK, where they helped insurance and fleet companies to automate the management of accident claims, vehicle services, and warranty. Currently, they are working as a Product Owner at ARKK, where they simplify the complex world of financial and regulatory data for over 890 clients globally.

Waqas Ahmed began their education in 1991 at St Lawrence High School, where they completed their Primary and Secondary Education. In 2003, they enrolled in PCIT, where they earned an ICS in Computer Science. Waqas also attended Escola Oficial d'Idiomes de Barcelona in 2005, where they earned a Language degree in Spanish Language. From 2005 to 2007, they attended Ies Mila i Fontanals, studying Computer and Information Sciences, General. In 2008, they enrolled in Universitat de Barcelona, studying Computer Science. In 2015, they attended Logic4Training and earned an ACS in Engineering.
