Fabien Villacampa started their work experience as a Financial Modeller (Intern) at VINCI Construction UK in 2011. Fabien then worked as an Associate in Infrastructure at InfraRed Capital Partners Ltd from 2012 to 2015, where they focused on investing in and developing major greenfield social infrastructure projects across Europe and North America. From 2016 to 2017, Fabien worked at EDF Energies Nouvelles as a Bid Director, leading business development activities and consortium bids for renewable energy projects in the Middle East and Africa. Fabien was successful in winning two major contracts during their time there. In 2018, Fabien joined Mirova as an Investment Director, specializing in renewable energy and clean technology investments. Fabien served on the Investment Committee and was involved in more than 12 international M&A and project finance deals. Fabien's most recent role was as a Senior Investment Advisor in Environmental Finance, supporting debt and equity investment structuring for resilient agriculture projects in developing countries. In May 2023, they became the Head of Growth and Acquisitions at Arkolia Energies.

Fabien Villacampa completed their undergraduate education from 2008 to 2012 at École Polytechnique, where they pursued a degree in Innovation Engineering. During this time, they studied a diverse range of subjects including Business Management, Economics, and Mathematics.

In 2011 and 2012, Fabien attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to pursue their M2 Doctis degree. Here, they focused on Dynamique des Organisations, Changement Technologique, Innovation et Technologies, which revolved around the study of organizational dynamics, technological change, innovation, and technologies.
