Melissa Pahl's work experience begins in 1998 at Mayo Clinic New Prague, where they worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Their responsibilities included collecting accurate specimens, maintaining patient confidentiality, providing test results, assisting patients, maintaining instrumentation, and performing various laboratory tasks. Melissa also served as the Chairman for blood drives during their time there.

In 2005, Melissa moved on to Allina Health, continuing their role as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Melissa carried out similar responsibilities, including mentoring and training employees and students, evaluating job performance, and conducting interviews for prospective candidates.

From 2015 to 2019, Melissa worked at Argosy University as an MLT & MLS Clinical Coordinator, managing clinical affiliations, building and maintaining relationships with sites, and ensuring accreditation standards were met. Melissa also supervised associate and bachelor level students during their clinical training.

Following that, from 2019 to 2022, Melissa held the position of Assistant Professor & Clinical Coordinator for MLT/MLS at Northwestern Health Sciences University. In this role, they managed clinical affiliations in the Midwest region, cultivated relationships with new sites, maintained accreditation records, and directed students during their clinical training.

Most recently, Melissa joined ARKRAY USA in 2022 as a Scientist. Their responsibilities involve working cross-functionally with various teams and utilizing scientific and statistical expertise to support regulatory approvals and other related tasks.

Melissa Pahl's education history includes a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology, obtained from Northcentral University from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Argosy University Twin Cities from 2006 to 2008. In 2003 to 2004, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician from the same institution. Melissa has also obtained several certifications, such as Facilitation Skills for Correctional Treatment Groups, Motivational Interviewing for the Corrections Professionals MI Level 1 & MI Level 2 Coaching, and Statewide Case Planning & 4 Step On-Going Processes from Metropolitan State University in December 2019. Melissa also holds the LS-CMI certification from the Mn Dept Of Corrections, obtained in October 2019. Additionally, Melissa holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid USA from the National Council for Behavioral Health, obtained in January 2020, and MLS from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), obtained in October 2016.
