Rachel Lund

Rachel Lund has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Rachel currently works as a Scientist at ARKRAY USA starting in April 2022. Prior to this, Rachel worked at Mayo Clinic as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist from January 2020 to February 2022. In this role, they were primarily involved in the Metals Laboratory and also spent five months working in the COVID testing laboratory.

Rachel also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Merced from August 2019 to December 2019. Their responsibilities included teaching laboratory and discussion sections for undergraduate General Chemistry II, holding office hours, tutoring students, and grading assignments.

Before that, they held multiple roles at Gustavus Adolphus College. Rachel worked as a Tour Guide from June 2019 to August 2019 and as a Chemistry Academic Assistant from September 2018 to May 2019. Rachel also served as a Research Student in Inorganic Chemistry from September 2017 to May 2019, where they designed and optimized teaching laboratory experiments and operated the ElectraSyn 2.0 equipment. Lastly, Rachel worked as a Summer Research Student in Environmental Chemistry at Gustavus Adolphus College in 2016. Their responsibilities included preparing soil and water samples for analysis, cleaning laboratory equipment, and conducting fieldwork to collect samples from river systems in Minnesota.
