Jim Mair is currently the Technical Director at Arksen, where they oversee technological advancements in marine innovation. Prior to this role, Jim served as an Outfit Manager at Burgess Marine Ltd and as a Technical Manager at Meercat Workboats, contributing to various vessel outfitting and mechanical installation projects. Jim began their career as a Design Intern at Sunseeker International and gained foundational knowledge with a degree in Yacht Production & Surveying from Solent University, building on an earlier qualification in Boat Design & Production from Falmouth Marine School. Additionally, they worked as an Outfit Engineer at BMT Nigel Gee before joining the Arksen team.
