Emily Bird is a microbiologist with extensive experience in the field, currently holding the position of Microbiologist II at ARL Bio Pharma since April 2022, after previously serving as Microbiologist I. Emily has also worked as an MD/PhD candidate at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from June 2019 to December 2020. Early roles included research assistant positions at both the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa, as well as support staff at the Women's Resource Center and a hospitality assistant at the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Emily earned a Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor's degree in Biology and History from the University of Tulsa.
