Julian Soong has a diverse work experience, starting from 2004, where they worked as an Associate and later Senior Associate at Rajah & Tann. Julian then joined BNY Mellon as a Corporate Trust employee in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Associate at WongPartnership. Julian then moved to Rajah & Tann once again in 2009, where they held the position of Senior Associate until 2010. Julian Soong then joined Hyflux Ltd as Vice President, Legal from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Nokia Networks as Head of Legal & Compliance, SEA until 2016. Currently, Julian Soong is working at ARLANXEO since 2017 as the General Counsel, APAC & Managing Director, Singapore.

Julian Soong completed their LLB in Law at the National University of Singapore from 1999 to 2003. After that, they obtained the certification of Advocate and Solicitor of Singapore from the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2004. Julian also attended the NUS Business School Executive Education in 2021 for the General Management Programme. In 2023, they took the Leading for Results course at INSEAD. Prior to their university education, Julian attended Victoria Junior College from 1995 to 1996 and Dunman High School from 1991 to 1994.
