Mark Drewitt

Mark Drewitt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as the Health, Environment, Safety and Training Supervisor and Butyl Technology Manager at ARLANXEO since April 2016, where involvement includes the transition to the Lanxess Saudi Aramco joint venture. Previously, Mark held various positions at Lanxess from March 2002 to March 2016, including Butyl Technology Manager in Sarnia, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Butyl Technology group, enhancing production processes, and overseeing process analyzer technology. Mark's earlier roles include Production Chemist and Process Development Chemist, with a foundation in research as a Senior Research Chemist and Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Queens University and the University of California, Berkeley. Mark earned a D. Phil. and a BA/MA in Chemistry from the University of Oxford.
