Willy Tan's work experience begins in 2010 with Great Eastern Singapore, where they worked as a System Engineer until January 2013. In 2013, they joined DSM as a Regional Marketing and Sales Coordinator, then became a Segment Marketing and Sales Coordinator from April 2015 to April 2017. Willy subsequently worked as a Segment Marketing and Sales Specialist from April 2017 to November 2017. In 2017, Willy joined ARLANXEO as a Global Business Intelligence until September 2018 and later became the Head of Business Intelligence from September 2021.

Willy Tan earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Adelaide between 2012 and 2014.
