Managing Partner at Arlington Capital Partners

Peter shares overall responsibilities for all management and investment activities of the firm. Peter has primary responsibility for Arlington’s aerospace/defense investments and shares responsibility for the firm’s healthcare investments. Peter has over 27 years of private equity, public equity, and merger and acquisition transactional experience and has completed 40 transactions in a variety of industries representing over $4.0 billion in aggregate enterprise value. Prior to joining Arlington in 2002, Peter worked at The Carlyle Group, a Washington, D.C.-based global private equity firm with approximately $200 billion of committed capital under management, and Capitol Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based private equity firm focused on technology, scale and infrastructure-intensive markets. As a Managing Partner with shared overall management responsibilities and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Capitol Partners, Peter built the firm’s healthcare practice and successfully sourced and executed numerous transactions.

While at Carlyle, Peter was part of the core aerospace/defense group and was part of the original healthcare buyout team. At Carlyle, Peter successfully closed over $1 billion of transactions.

Peter’s principal investing experience also includes work at Fayez Sarofim & Co., a Houston-based public equity investment firm with over $35 billion under management. While at Fayez Sarofim, Peter evaluated and made investments in the airline and automotive aftermarket industries. Peter’s transactional experience also includes numerous merger and acquisition transactions and initial public offerings as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and at Peers & Co., a subsidiary of the Long Term Credit Bank of Japan.

Peter’s private equity and transactional experience is complemented by his operating experience in founding, developing and running iFINANCE, a venture capital funded credit infrastructure company that provides solutions to merchants and financial institutions.

Peter earned an M.B.A. with an emphasis on finance from the Harvard Business School and an B.A. from Stanford University.

Peter is currently on the Board of Directors of Cadence Aerospace, Forged Solutions Group, Qarbon Aerospace, Radius Aerospace, and Tex Tech Industries. Peter has previously been a member of the Board of Directors of Advanced Health Media, Avalign Technologies, Cambridge Major Labs, Chandler/May, Consolidated Precision Products, Endeavor Robotics, MB Aerospace, Molecular Products, Ontario Systems, Quantum Spatial, SECOR International, TSI Group, and United Flexible.
