Hamed Hameedi is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in various organizations including Arlington Public Schools, the World Health Organization, the World Bank, and the Ministry of Economy in Afghanistan. Currently serving as a Senior Procurement Specialist at Arlington Public Schools since February 2022, Hamed has successfully managed complex procurement processes across multiple sectors. Key accomplishments include overseeing the procurement for 40 Covid-19 consultancy projects valued at $50 million for the WHO, enhancing the procurement process in the Ministry of Economy leading to a 60% increase in bids, and managing procurement and finance operations for projects aimed at reducing drug addiction. Hamed holds a Master of Arts in Finance and Banking as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Kabul University.
