John Fuquene is an experienced professional with a diverse background in software development and coaching. Currently serving as an Associate Consultant and Appian Software Developer at Ignyte Group since November 2021, John has also been coaching soccer for the Arlington Soccer Association since June 2021, working with children aged 8-15. Previously, John completed an intensive program at Flatiron School in early 2021, gaining foundational skills in full-stack software engineering. Prior experience includes a role as a Sales Development Representative at Expel and coaching for the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club, focusing on skill development for young players. Earlier in John’s career, work as an Audio Visual Technician at Capital AV involved technical support for live events. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from William & Mary, earned in 2019.

The Arlington Soccer Association provides quality soccer programs and experiences for people of all abilities, backgrounds and financial means to encourage personal growth, promote a love for the game and advance soccer in Arlington and surrounding communities. The Arlington Soccer Association offers recreational and travel soccer, as well as a number of other camps, clinics and other programs throughout the year. Over 9,000 children take advantage of ASA programs each year.
