James Mercado

James Mercado is a dedicated engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and aerospace engineering. Currently serving as a Production Engineer at Arlon EMD since August 2025, James previously worked as a STEM Teacher at C2 Education and held multiple engineering roles, including Mechanical and Thermal Engineer at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, where contributions included the development of a heat-dissipating power management system. Earlier experience includes a mechanical engineering internship at Micronix USA, participation in the EcoCAR EV Challenge, and engineering internships at Glenair and Highlander Racing, showcasing a strong background in project management, simulations, and technical documentation. James holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside.
