Remote Sensing Specialist at Arlula

Panji Brotoisworo has worked in the tech and geospatial industry since 2015. Panji began as an intern at Pacific Rim Innovation and Management Exponents, Inc. (PRIMEX) in 2015. In 2017, they interned at Indonesia Climate Change Trust Fund (ICCTF) where they researched and gathered data about the global climate finance landscape. In 2018, they became a Science Research Specialist II at the University of the Philippines Training Center for Applied Geodesy and Photogrammetry. Here, they researched and created workflows for the detection of irrigation canals using remote sensing technologies. In 2020, they became a University Researcher II at the STAMINA4SPACE Program - GRASPED where they developed software and algorithms and conducted technology transfer training for Philippine Space Agency personnel. Panji also developed a Python-based workflow to perform image coregisteration Diwata microsatellite imagery and an automated geoferencing method using existing open-based algorithms. Currently, they are a Research Software Engineer at Arlula and a Geospatial Developer at Mosaic Risk Analytics, where they develop custom geospatial workflows to assess risks for clients involved in infrastructure development and mining. Panji also develops InSAR workflows to monitor large scale ground deformation using radar satellites.

Panji Brotoisworo obtained a High School degree from International School Manila between 1996 and 2010. Panji then obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from California State University - East Bay between 2010 and 2015. In 2016, they obtained a Certificate of Training in ArcGIS 2: Essential Workflows from Geodata Systems Technologies, Inc. In 2017, they obtained a Master's Degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Monash University, as well as a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate from Healthguard.
