Sebastian Chaoui began their career in 2012 as an Engineering Intern at the Australian Center of Space Engineering Research. In 2013, they moved on to become a Space Operations Engineer at Saber Astronautics, where they developed user interface software for satellite diagnostics tools and was heavily involved in the development and implementation of zero gravity flight experiments. In 2014, they co-founded Cuberider, the first Australian entity to design, launch and execute a mission on the International Space Station, where they were responsible for the design, development and operations of International Space Station payloads as well as leading Sales and Customer Relationship management. In 2017, they co-founded Arlula, a marketplace for Earth imagery data, where they entered into commercial agreements with Maxar, SIIS, Taiwanese Space Agency (NSPO) and SpaceWill to commercialize their Earth imagery around the globe, and launched an API to automatically stream satellite imagery over the web.

Sebastian Chaoui completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney between 2011 and 2017.
