Julio Suárez

Julio Suárez is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and hardware performance engineering, particularly in cloud and edge environments. Currently serving as Principal SW/HW Performance Engineer at Arm since September 2016, Julio leads a team of engineers and collaborates with Cloud Service Providers to implement Arm-based hardware solutions. Previous roles include Staff Solutions Engineer, where performance and cost analysis of cloud workloads were key responsibilities, and a focus on proof of concepts involving Kubernetes and Docker. Prior to Arm, Julio held significant positions at Intel Corporation as System Validation Lead and at Motion Computing and Motorola, specializing in capacitive touch technology and hardware validation. Julio earned a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
