Madhusudan Chidambaram

Madhusudan Chidambaram is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Arm since July 2025, Madhusudan previously held the position of Design Director at NXP Semiconductors from January 2023 to July 2025. Prior to that role, Madhusudan was a Principal Engineer and SoC Architecture Lead at Intel Corporation for nearly eleven years, from May 2012 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes roles such as SoC Architect and Design Manager at Qualcomm, and Chip Lead/Design Methodologies Lead at Intel India Technology Pvt Ltd. Madhusudan began the professional journey in the field with a focus on low power device SoC design and implementation. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Micro Electronics from BIT Mesra and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Annamalai University.
