Paolo Stanisci

Paolo Stanisci is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in graphics software and embedded systems. Currently serving as Engineering Director for GPU Software at Arm since April 2007, Paolo leads engineering teams to create high-quality graphics drivers for Mali GPUs, focusing on Vulkan and OpenGL ES APIs while collaborating with partners to shape product strategy. Prior to this role, Paolo held positions at Samsung Electronics UK as a Senior Software Engineer and at Panasonic as a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, specializing in low-level software drivers and embedded driver development. Earlier experience includes work as an Embedded Software Engineer at MAGNETI MARELLI S.P.A. and military service as a Second Lieutenant in the Italian Army. Paolo holds a Higher National Diploma and a Bachelor's degree from The Open University, as well as additional education from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia.
