Paul Howard is a Senior Principal Software Architect at Arm since November 2018, focusing on solutions prototyping, open-source community engagement, and standardization efforts to enhance Arm architecture. Previously, Paul served as a Principal System Solutions Architect at Arm, where the role involved managing the solutions prototyping team and exploring use cases for infrastructure computing, edge computing, and IoT. Prior to Arm, Paul worked at Citrix from May 2010 to November 2018 in various engineering roles, including Principal Software Engineer, leading development for Citrix Machine Creation Services in AWS, as well as contributing to XenApp and XenDesktop integration with cloud platforms. Earlier experiences include software development roles at Global Graphics and Harlequin, where Paul focused on document manipulation applications and programming language implementations. Paul holds a BSc in Computing Science from Aston University, completed in 1995.
