Paul Hughes

Paul Hughes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in system architecture and engineering, currently serving as Lead System Architect and Distinguished Engineer at Arm since September 2001. Throughout tenure at Arm, Paul has held various roles, including System Architect, Principal Engineer, and Senior Product Marketing Manager, and has managed DFT and processor optimization physical IP products while investigating architectures for next-generation soft-IP products. Prior to these roles, Paul contributed as a Staff Engineer, designing application and embedded microprocessors. Additionally, Paul served as Chair of the Technical Committee at the Autonomous Vehicle Computing Consortium, Inc. from June 2019 to December 2022. Paul started his career as an intern at ARM from June 2000 to January 2001, following a Master of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester (1997-2001).
