Scott Mahlke

Scott Mahlke is a Professor in the EECS Department at the University of Michigan and a co-founder of Parabricks, a company specializing in high-performance, low-cost genomics analysis in the cloud. With a research focus on compilers, computer architecture, and energy-efficient computer systems, Scott has collaborated with prominent companies such as ARM, Huawei, and Samsung. Scott previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, contributing to significant projects in VLIW architectures and compilers. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, a Master of Science, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering, all from the University of Illinois.
