Sedat Ünalacak

Sedat Ünalacak is a Senior Verification Engineer currently at Arm, a position held since November 2025, following a similar role at Cirrus Logic from November 2022 to October 2025. Prior to that, Sedat worked as an ASIC Verification Engineer at Axis Communications, specializing in planning and testbench setup using SystemVerilog with UVM for verification processes. Sedat's experience also includes a master's thesis at Volvo Cars focused on energy efficiency comparisons of convolutional neural networks on FPGA and GPU platforms, as well as positions as a Teaching Assistant at Chalmers University of Technology and a Summer Engineering Intern at Huawei. Earlier work involved research and development at ANDAR Electromechanical Systems, where Sedat engaged in schematic and PCB design, circuit simulation, and testing of electronic controllers for motion actuators. Sedat holds a Master's degree in Embedded Electronic System Design from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University.
