Thomas Elmer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in microprocessor and microcontroller design. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Arm since March 2020, Thomas previously worked at Annapurna Labs - Amazon Web Services from 2017 to December 2019, focusing on arithmetic microarchitecture and the design of AWS's first machine learning chip, Inferentia. Thomas's earlier roles include significant contributions to Centaur Technology as a Microprocessor Design Engineer for two decades, where expertise encompassed various floating point designs.
