Varun Sonagra

Varun Sonagra is a seasoned engineer specializing in design verification, currently serving as a Senior Design Verification Engineer at Arm since March 2024. Prior experience includes a role at Qualcomm from July 2021 to March 2024, where Varun focused on CPU subsystem verification, employing C and SystemVerilog (UVM) for developing testbenches and closing code coverage gaps. Earlier experience involves an internship at Arm, working on validation and performance verification of CPU and media IPs on Emulator and FPGA platforms, and a role as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. Varun also contributed as a Student Researcher in simulation projects and led marketing initiatives as Head of Department at Effervescence while pursuing a dual B.Tech-M.Tech in Microelectronics at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad.
