Akhil Gudivada

Akhil Gudivada has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Akhil started their career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Continental in 2017, where they primarily focused on unit testing for MATLAB Simulink models and test automation using Python. Akhil then worked as an Associate Engineer, where they were responsible for unit testing software components and writing test case specifications.

In 2020, Akhil was promoted to the role of Executive Engineer at Continental, where they conducted software performance analysis for the start of production software releases. Their tasks included monitoring OS Task control flow, analyzing jitter for task execution, testing power transitions, and measuring interrupt masking timing. Akhil also verified CPU load and established worst-case scenarios for high CPU load. Additionally, Akhil measured current consumption during sleep mode.

Akhil then transitioned to the role of Senior Technical Specialist at Continental in 2021. In this position, they developed applications for automated latching mechanisms for various automotive OEMs. Their responsibilities included software requirement analysis, detailed design, code development, verification test specification, and bench testing. Akhil also resolved issues related to system and vehicle testing.

Most recently, Akhil joined Astera Labs in 2022 as a Product Engineering Intern. During this internship, they handled package XML file handling using Python to support package-to-die net listing and package simulations.

As of 2023, Akhil is currently working as a Design Verification Engineer at Astera Labs.

Akhil Gudivada has a diverse educational background in electrical, electronics, and communications engineering. Akhil obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree from San Jose State University between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in electronics and communications.

In addition to their formal education, Akhil Gudivada has also pursued various certifications to enhance their skills. Akhil has completed the "Learning C++" certification from LinkedIn in January 2022, the "Learning FPGA Development" certification from LinkedIn in December 2021, and the "C Programming for Embedded Applications" certification from LinkedIn in August 2021. These certifications indicate their dedication to continuous learning and staying updated in their field.
