Nicolò Ricca

Chris Nicol has extensive experience in electrical engineering and firmware development, currently serving as an Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies since July 2010, focusing on collaborative solutions for interactive educational technologies. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, where contributions included developing firmware for innovative educational devices. Chris also held positions as an Electronics Contractor with Science Alberta Foundation, where electronics design and repair were undertaken, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, providing support in electronic circuit laboratories. Earlier experience includes a role as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, concentrating on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris Nicol holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
