Alexiy Buynitsky

Alexiy Buynitsky is an AI Engineer Intern at Armada since October 2023, specializing in edge AI applications for remote hardware. Currently engaged in research at Purdue University's Cognitive Robot Autonomy & Learning Lab, under Professor Ahmed Qureshi, on robotic learning and motion planning. Previous experience includes roles at SpaceX, developing mechatronic and software solutions for Starlink satellites; at Google, focusing on CV models and data pipelines; and at TE Connectivity, achieving high accuracy in sales prediction models. Additional contributions were made in autonomous vehicle systems, audio processing utilities, and various leadership positions in robotics and programming clubs. Alexiy is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Purdue University, building on a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
