Arash Motamedi

Arash Motamedi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Arash currently works as a Product Lead at Armada since 2023. Prior to this, from 2022 to 2023, they held the role of Infrastructure Product Lead at Meta, where they led the development of planet-scale Storage infrastructure for AI Enablement and Privacy Compliance. Arash played a key role in developing Privacy Aware Storage Infrastructure and implementing automated data schematization and classification systems.

From 2018 to 2022, Arash worked at Microsoft as a Principal Product Management Lead, where they led the company-wide security clearance solution and played a pivotal role in the planning and execution of Microsoft's clearance solution.

In 2015, Arash co-founded HAVIUM, a rental property investing platform and served as the CTO. Arash was responsible for implementing large-scale event-driven data pipelines, designing responsive user experiences, and developing various tools for property search, analysis, and investment.

Furthermore, they also gained experience at Microsoft as a Program Manager from 2011 to 2015 and at IBM as a Software Test Engineer from 2008 to 2011.

Arash Motamedi holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Before completing their Master's, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the same institution, graduating in 2011. In 2007, they also gained a Certificate in Project and Program Management from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
