Matthew Clouse has extensive work experience in various industries. Matthew started their career as an AO/Surface SAR in the US Navy from 2002-2006. Following that, they worked as a Summer Intern at Bouten Construction in 2007, where they gained experience in concrete pouring, equipment operation, and carpentry. In 2008, they worked as a 3rd Class Handyman Pipefitter at Técnico Corporation, where they learned about piping systems and worked on a project aboard the USS George HW Bush. From 2009-2011, they worked at Red Bull as an SBM, responsible for event planning, marketing, and maintaining relationships with Clemson University organizations. Matthew then joined W.F. Magann Corporation as an Intern in 2009, where they learned about quantity take-offs and cost reporting. Matthew continued with the company as an Estimator from 2011-2013, handling detailed estimates, supplier relationships, and assisting project managers. From 2013, they joined Armada Hoffler, starting as an Assistant Project Manager and progressing to roles such as Software Implementation Manager, Construction Technology & Innovation Manager, and currently, Director of Corporate Business Systems.
Matthew Clouse attended Clemson University from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Construction Management and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General. Matthew also obtained a LEED AP BD+C certification from GBCI in March 2014.
