Summer Chu

Summer Chu, JD/MBA, is a corporate attorney at Armada Hoffler Properties since March 2021, bringing extensive legal and compliance experience from roles such as Human Resources Compliance Manager and Staff Attorney at Smithfield Foods from August 2015 to January 2021. Prior to this, Summer served as a Graduate Assistant for the LLM Program at William and Mary Law School, collaborating with the Associate Dean on recruiting and admissions, as well as promoting diversity on campus through various academic and social activities. Summer gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at the International Finance Corporation in 2014, where responsibilities included managing legal aspects of equity and loan investments in private companies across East Asia and the Pacific Region. Summer holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business (2020-2022) and a Doctor of Law degree from William & Mary Law School (2012-2015).
