Mike Canty

Mike Canty has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2016, they co-founded and became the CEO of Armaments Research Company, where they developed IoT technology to enable law enforcement personnel to send life-saving information. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Microsoft as a Sr. Business Manager and Business Manager, developing an operational model and leading a process improvement implementation resulting in revenue savings of over $11M. In 2013, they were a Sr. Product Manager Intern at Amazon. In 2012, they were a Team Leader for NYC interns at Origami. From 2003 to 2012, they served as an Army Officer in the US Army, leading teams of 10 to 90 personnel on three combat deployments.

Mike Canty attended Worcester Academy from 1997 to 1999. Mike then attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a BS in Management and Systems Engineering. After that, they attended Columbia Business School from 2012 to 2014, earning an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship. In addition, they obtained a Top Secret Clearance from the U.S Government in February 2019 and Ranger Qualified from the U.S. Army Ranger School in July 2004.
